Open Position - Carpenter
Job Summary
The Carpenter position is responsible for collaborating with other carpenters on the team to construct Arrow Station units, encompassing the entire structure from roof to base, as well as fixtures and hardware, within a manufacturing environment. They would also need to work with project management to determine the inventory of materials and their availability.
Essential Functions
- Build Arrow Station buildings according to the provided plans and specifications
- Ability to follow the construction process from start to finish in a timely fashion
- Ability to work on multiple construction projects simultaneously and efficiently
- Work with project management to accurately forecast material needs

- Basic construction knowledge & manufacturing experience, including how to read plans and specifications
- Knowledge of how to use basic hand tools such as a hammer, drills, and various saws

Work Environment
This job operates in a typical shop environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. There is also frequent use of power tools, including saws and forklifts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience required. Post-secondary education or trade school is preferred but not required.
